“Awakening Through Adversity”
PUBLIC MEETING
Online
You can join from anywhere in the world either live or have access to the audio and video recordings.
An online “public meeting” begins with a discourse by Amoda, followed by a question and answer session, and is open to both newcomers and regulars. If you are new to Amoda’s teaching, this is a great way to be introduced to her work. If you have already attended events with Amoda, this is an opportunity to stay connected to the growing community.
In this Public Meeting we will explore how adversity can be a potent doorway to awakening. How do we meet the challenges of life? How do we meet those dark moments of doubt and confusion, or loss and pain? Are we seeking awakening by avoiding these catalysts for a deeper looking within? Are we expecting awakening to take place only when things are flowing our way? We will explore these questions and more.
If you have something specific you’d like to explore with Amoda, please allow your question to arise from your innermost being, either by having this ready before the meeting starts or by tuning in to a deeper place within yourself during the meeting.
You will be able to interact one-on-one with Amoda via video conference or just listen. All you need to participate is a computer (or any other device such as a tablet or cell phone) with built-in camera, speaker and microphone, and access to the internet. Please note that since this is a relatively short meeting, there may not be enough time to answer all questions.
Online meetings are moderated by Kavi.
The meeting is 90 minutes in duration.
