Weekend Online Retreat
with Amoda Maa
“The Peace of True Being”
September 26 & 27, 2026
True peace is not found by escaping life, controlling experience, or perfecting the human self. It is discovered in the depth of being itself — the silent, ever-present ground that remains untouched beneath the movement of thought, emotion, and circumstance.
In this weekend retreat, Amoda Maa invites us into the direct recognition of the peace that is already here: a peace deeper than personal calm, wider than understanding, and inseparable from the openness of our essential nature. Held within a safe and intimate container of silent resting and living inquiry, Amoda will offer guided meditations, discourse, and dialogue that supports the stillness of true being, allowing this peace to illuminate the whole of human life from within.
Kavi will offer the gift of silent presence and occasional spoken word, sharing poems that echo the heart of stillness and illuminate the sacredness of this journey.
There will be TWO sessions daily, each 120 minutes (2 hours), including meditation, a discourse, and Q&A.
If you miss a session, audio & video recordings will be available for 30 days after the retreat.
Please note — Weekend retreats are an opportunity to meet Amoda Maa in an intimate setting from the comfort of your home.
Even though this is an online event, your full participation is required in order for you to receive the full benefit and to support the frequency field of this potent gathering.
If it is unavoidable for you to miss a session, recordings will be available. But we encourage you to attend as many of the sessions as possible.
Topics for each of the two daily sessions:
Day 1 —
-
We begin by looking honestly at the ways the separate self seeks peace through control, certainty, spiritual attainment, or escape. This session invites a deeper seeing of how the very movement of searching can keep peace at a distance — and how true peace begins to reveal itself when the effort to manage life starts to soften.
-
This session points to the silent ground of awareness that is present before, during, and after every movement of thought, feeling, sensation, and circumstance. Rather than trying to become still, we discover the stillness that is already here — the quiet, spacious presence in which all experience arises and dissolves.
Day 2 —
-
Here we explore how suffering is intensified by the inner argument with life: the refusal of what is, the contraction against feeling, and the subtle demand that this moment should be different. Through meeting fear, sorrow, conflict, and vulnerability without turning away, we discover a peace that is not dependent on the absence of difficulty.
-
The retreat completes by exploring how this peace becomes a living presence in everyday life. Peace is not a private refuge or passive withdrawal, but a profound ground from which clarity, tenderness, compassion, and wise action naturally flower in the midst of ordinary human experience.
“True peace is not the absence of disturbance, but the discovery of what remains undisturbed beneath all disturbance.”
