You can join this training from anywhere in the world — whilst the times are most suitable for the USA, we have tried to also accommodate participants in UK/Europe and Australasia. Please carefully check the dates and times outlined below, before registering for this event.

As old world structures crumble and we see that this world has been built on shaky — and perhaps shady — foundations, many of us yearn for and envision a new world in which authenticity, transparency, and respect are the ground from which we live. This new world starts within — we are each called to take responsibility for an inner revolution in which we meet ourselves, each other, and the life we live from an internal landscape that is free of ego’s grip.

This revolution is beyond awakening and beyond any spiritual utopia — it is a harnessing of our birthright of freedom and our true sovereignty as warriors of the heart.

It is an invitation from our deepest, innermost selves to leave behind the insanity of giving our allegiance to fear, to have the courage to befriend the unknown, and to get right up close and intimate with life with an openness the mind cannot possess. It is nothing less than a revolution of love — a love that can stand as the unbroken amidst the brokenness, that can turn towards tenderness in the face of the enemy, and that can live as fierce grace when the world comes tumbling down. It is also a love that envisions and builds a new world on foundations of genuineness and the natural flow of infinite joy and intelligence.

If all this sounds too grandiose or out-of-reach, it really is not — we are each a hair-breadth away from falling into our truest nature and reclaiming our sovereignty. Wherever you are on your journey of self-exploration, self-empowerment or spiritual self-realization, this training will fine-tune, deepen and integrate your transformation.

It is time for each of us to embody our open-hearted warrior nature — to stop complaining about the world and start being that which we want to see. It’s an ongoing journey, and of course it will take time and discipline and a deep willingness. But we cannot wait any longer — we are called to shepherd ourselves into the next evolutionary phase of humanity.

In this 4-month training, you will: 

  • Develop your warriorship by embracing the path of presence and openness in all circumstances.

  • Cultivate spiritual resilience and spiritual maturity by learning to smile at fear and trust the unknown.

  • Discover your true authority by listening to a deeper intelligence than conditioned thought.

  • Move beyond the powerlessness of shame, blame, judgment and hatred by practicing the art of forgiveness.

  • Create an inner environment of wholesomeness by letting go of distractions and toxic relationships.

  • Empower yourself to take “right action” and walk into the world as a Warrior of Love.

  • Live your purpose from your deepest values and open yourself up to grace.

This training is a synthesis of Amoda Maa’s teaching over the years, born of personal experience in the fire of transformation and her vision of a new world and then grounded in dialoguing with many spiritual seekers over the years.

The training is co-facilitated by Kavi, who brings his own depth of wisdom as well as his experience supporting Amoda’s teaching over the years and his in-depth one-to-one work with private sessions.

The training will comprise of four modules:

  • Modules 1, 2 and 3 comprise of four weekly sessions each — three weekly sessions of 120-minutes duration, plus one additional week of a 90-minute integration session.

  • Module 4 is a 3-day retreat — one evening, plus two daylongs.

The training will include:

  • Discourses on each of the weekly themes, time for exploration and Q&A.

  • Contemplations and Inquiry Exercises for each week — you are required to keep a journal, as this will be useful for deepening your practice and transformation.

  • Access to a Private Community page — to allow course participants to communicate directly with each other, share experiences, and create a resonant field of heart-based seekers and warriors in the making. This is, of course, a voluntary participation — and we hope, a useful one!

Prerequisites:

  • It is preferable for you to be familiar with Amoda’s teaching prior to participation in this training — we recommend at least having attended an online or live event, or having had a private session with Amoda.

  • We also recommend that you have read Amoda’s books — specifically, “Embodied Enlightenment” and “Falling Open in a World Falling Apart” — and watched some of her videos.

How to participate:

We will be using use a video conferencing program called Zoom, which is free to download and very easy to use. All you need to participate is a computer (or device) with a built-in speaker, microphone,  and camera, and access to the internet.

It is preferable for you to join the training live — although if time zone changes make it too inconvenient, you can also receive a video recording each week (and send in your questions by email and/or join the community page to be able to interact).

OUTLINE OF THE TRAINING:

MODULE 1 - PREPARING THE GROUND

Preparing the ground is vital to new growth — whether we’re tilling the soil to plant the seeds for a bountiful harvest, or leveling the earth to build a solid home, or embarking on a creative project that requires our inspiration and focus.

In the first 4-week module, we prepare the ground of our warriorship by looking within to see how the matrix of our own thoughts and of collective thinking has clouded our true sovereignty. And we come together to make a commitment to the compassionate heart of deep inquiry — to meet ourselves honestly, without judgment or rejection.

Week 1 - The Warrior’s Commitment

In this introductory session, we open the door to meeting ourselves and each other more deeply. We lay the ground of our training by asking ourselves some key questions (why are we here, what are our values, what is our vision) and we make a commitment to discovering our authenticity — this is the warrior’s first task!

In Week 1, we will outline:

  • Our vision for a new world, the revolution of love that is required to fulfill this vision, and the unique role we each play in it.

  • The structure of this training, what is required of you, and how we can come together as a community.

  • The first warrior’s task of “commitment” — examine your values, your vision, and your purpose.

Week 2 - Becoming a Warrior of the Heart

In this second session, we strengthen our commitment by exploring the primary qualities of becoming a warrior of the heart — and ask ourselves if we are willing to fully embrace these qualities in our everyday lives.

In Week 2, we will explore:

  • Developing our warriorship by being undefended — how the open heart is infinitely more powerful than ego.

  • “Sitting in the seat of our sovereignty” — the central pillar of becoming a warrior of truth and love.

  • Deepening into the practice of presence and openness — the “groundless ground” of being a warrior.

Week 3 - Freedom from the Matrix

Freedom from the matrix of personal, social and cultural conditioning is vital for the true warrior. By examining the many ways in which we move away from our sovereignty because of the need for approval, security and love, we can start to dismantle and dissolve the matrix of conditioned mind and live according to our innate divine intelligence.

In Week 3, we will explore:

  • The willingness to “fall off the pedestal” of opinion and belief in order to discover the freedom of meeting reality as it is.

  • Standing as love in the face of being misunderstood, rejected and judged.

  • Discovering our true authority by listening to a deeper intelligence.

Week 4 - Insight and Integration Session

In Week 4, you will be invited to explore more deeply your reflections, insights, obstacles and questions from the “lessons” of the past 3 weeks.


MODULE 2 - CULTIVATING INVINCIBILITY

Now that we have prepared the ground, we can build strong foundations on which to stand — this is our invincibility. This invincibility is not about conquering the world, but about resting in ourselves as fearlessness, goodness, and genuineness.

In this second 4-week module, we begin to cultivate these qualities and become immune to inner and outer turbulence by stabilizing deep within ourselves — we can also call this “spiritual resilience” or “spiritual maturity”.

Week 5 - Smiling at Fear

Fear as the prevailing paradigm of humanity must come to an end if we are to envision and create a new world. We cannot do this by force — rather it requires a deep relaxation, a death of the reactive ego-self. Fear inevitably arises as part of life, but it is how we meet fear that makes all the difference. Do we give our allegiance to what we imagine might happen, do we bury our heads in the sand, do we hide in a dream of a brighter future … or are we willing to meet fear with a smile?

In Week 5, we will dive in to explore:

  • Embracing the wisdom of meeting fear with courage and curiosity.

  • Grounding ourselves in open awareness in the midst of turbulence, and how this harnesses our capacity to “weather any storm”.

  • Touching the aliveness at the core of fear, and how this brings us into presence and empowers us to deal with what is.

Week 6 - Trusting the Unknown

Trust is vital in developing the courage to meet reality as it is. This trust is not trustworthy when it comes from the grasping mind, but when it arises from the spacious heart it holds us through all of life’s wild tides. We begin by examining what we put our trust in, and whether we can discover a trust that is deeper than hope.

In Week 6, we will examine:

  • Learning the art of relaxation, and the difference between “surrender” and “collapse”.

  • Being wholehearted — the willingness to meet life as the open “yes” and cultivating the power of “totality”.

  • Discovering the slipstream of goodness at the core of everything.

Week 7 - The Power of Forgiveness

One of the core beliefs that keeps the ego-structure entangled in a tight knot is the identification with the “victim-self” (“he/she/they did this to me”). The injustice or hurt may have been a minor transgression or it may have been a major trauma — either way, staying attached to the victim-self leads to powerlessness, shame, hatred, and violence. Here we explore the nature of forgiveness by asking ourselves some fundamental questions about who we are.

In Week 7, we will dive in to ask:

  • Can we meet suffering consciously, and paradoxically bring an end to suffering?

  • Are we willing to practice self-forgiveness and thereby open the door to a love that is available in all circumstances?

  • Are we willing to go beyond hatred and judgment of others and the world by meeting everyone and everything in tenderness?

Week 8 - Insight and Integration Session

In Week 8, you will be invited to explore more deeply your reflections, insights, obstacles and questions from the “lessons” of the past 3 weeks.


MODULE 3 - CLEANING UP OUR ENVIRONMENT

Now that we have developed the building blocks, we can start to apply them to our lived experience — this is the crucible in which transformation takes place, a fire that allows the old ego-serving ways to burn away and brings about a rebirth into our natural sovereignty.

In this third 4-week module, we explore how we can clean up our inner environment by bringing awareness to unconscious beliefs that keep us attached to toxic relationships in our everyday lives. And we ask ourselves if we are truly willing to create an inner sanctuary of silence from which a new world can be born.

Week 9 - The Inner Sanctuary

If we are to envision and create a new world, we need to be ruthlessly honest with ourselves about what we give our energy and attention to and why. And then we need to have the courage to let go of distractions and toxic relationships so that we find the space and silence to listen to a deeper knowing. This isn’t about being perfect or being successful or being spiritual — rather it’s about being true to our innermost nature as love.

In Week 9, we will examine:

  • Turning our attention to what is more authentic than the distractions that keep us in our comfort zone.

  • Letting go of toxic relationships that pollute our inner and outer space and spaciousness.

  • Anchoring ourselves in an inner sanctuary of silence, and how this informs a new level of creativity and inspiration.

Week 10 - Developing True Immunity

Our true immunity is rooted in wholistic wellness or “wholesomeness” — it is the relationship between consciousness and the physical manifestation. It’s not about following specific protocols (and we don’t offer these here!) but about shedding light on unconscious patterns that may be keeping us locked into the matrix of dis-ease and addiction.

In Week 10, we will explore:

  • Deepening into an expanded sense of well-being by learning to be present within the “felt-sense” of the body, and how this anchors us in our true nature as wholeness.

  • Ending the ego’s primary seeking mechanism by slowing down and becoming aware of the mental and emotional movement towards seeking comfort in food (or alcohol/cigarettes/recreational substances).

  • Discovering a deeper nourishment by turning our hunger towards the divine and practicing the art of “conscious eating”.

Week 11 - Getting Clear About Money

Spirituality and money are often seen to be in opposition to each other, and there are many unexamined beliefs that get entangled into our relationship with money. By cleaning up our relationship with money, we allow it to be a conduit for creative energy from which we can create a new world — this is an ongoing relationship that evolves us beyond the burden of merely surviving into the joy of thriving.

In Week 11, we will explore:

  • Relating to money from our true nature and not from ego-identity — untangling our self-worth from the value of money, and freeing ourselves of fear, guilt, envy and avarice.

  • Releasing the emotional charge from money and letting it flow as a neutral conduit for consciousness.

  • Developing gratitude, appreciation, and discernment as the foundation of true inner wealth and abundance.

Week 12 - Insight and Integration Session

In Week 12, you will be invited to explore more deeply your reflections, insights, obstacles and questions from the “lessons” of the past 3 weeks.

MODULE 4 - WALKING INTO THE WORLD

If we have honored the “lessons” in this training — having prepared the ground through honest and compassionate inquiry, having cultivated the qualities of an open heart, and having made some progress in cleaning up our inner and outer environment — we are now ready to walk into the world as warriors. This “readiness” does not mean we need to feel ready — but we do it anyway because we are committed to taking one step at a time as presence and openness. We remember that we do not have to be perfect — we have the resilience to stumble and fall, to seemingly fail and get back up again. We remember that we do not have to have perfected all the “lessons” — we have the wisdom to know it is an ongoing journey.

This final module comprises of a 3-day retreat (one evening and two whole days). During this time together, we have the opportunity to deepen, clarify and integrate our insights in order to embody our warriorship for the next phase — walking into the everyday reality of our world.

Day 1 (2-hour session) - Deepening and Being Together

In this 2-hour session, we come together to deepen into being and to breathe into the one heart. Meditation and poetry will be included.

Day 2 (two 2-hour sessions) - The Samurai’s Sword

We now explore how to wield the “Samurai’s Sword” as we walk into the world. A samurai warrior acts from the ground of an inner stillness, an unwavering presence and an unconditional openness — and it is from this ground that we too can empower ourselves to take right action.

In Day 2 of the retreat, we will explore:

  • Discerning the difference between an open heart and passivity — how can we take action from love?

  • Harnessing our ability to take “right action” — the capacity to say “yes” and “no” from an inner silence and not from reactive mind.

  • Being rooted in our eternal nature and doing what needs to be done in the world — the story of “Arjuna and the Holy Battle”.

Day 3 (two 2-hour sessions) - Living Your Purpose Gracefully

And finally, we close our 4-month training by reflecting on how we can support ourselves and others in embodying our inherent goodness and living from the open heart through all the ups and downs of life — and especially during these transitional times of birthing a new world within ourselves and collectively.

In Day 3 of the retreat, we will explore:

  • Living our purpose from our deepest values and from the innate joy of true nature — an ongoing discovery.

  • Living gracefully — “doing” from “being”, trusting the flow, taking one step at a time, and allowing grace to inform our everyday actions and our vision.

  • Celebrating our warriorship — final insights and reflections, revisioning our vision, and strengthening our commitment.

A true warrior is not at war with anyone or with the world – there is no aggression, no violence, no enemy.

If you are true warrior, even when someone comes along that attacks or wants to hurt you or kill you, you act from a position of silence .. an open heart without hate or judgment. You are neither a victim nor an oppressor.

And this action may mean you do nothing, but stand as openness and allow your head to be sliced off. Or it may mean you stand as openness and slice off his or her head.

This is the path of the samurai warrior. It is tender and dignified, vigilant and yet without agenda.

Whether you are attacked by your friend, your family, your partner, your boss, your neighbor, a facebook troll, or the world .. stand as a true warrior and be free of inner division.
